i got a 1999 XK8 coupe. i'm looking at upgrading the rear lights taken from a 2002 model. i understand that the bodywork may need to be modified to make the lights fit. any tips on what it may involve?

YES BODY WORK, AND I THINK A SMALL REPIN ON THE CONNECTORS BUT I DONT REMEMBER FOR SURE SINCE IVE SLEPT SINCE THE LAST TIME I DID THAT FOR A CUSTOMER

pins and connectors no problem. someone mentions a new apperture needs to be fitted to the inside of the bodywork to house the light. is that correct?
