Default XK8 Key Fob question
Does the key FOB for 98 XK open the trunk?

PS - I don't have owners manual (nor remote....car came without) so please forgive the dumb question....

Should have a button that looks like a trunk.

Yes, it has 4 buttons. Lock, Open, Trunk, and Panic button..

Miguel, here are two pages from the owners manual... More accurate than I have described.

If both the fob AND the dashboard switch don't open the luggage compartment, the wiring harness is probably broken at the lid hinge where it flexes with repeated opening and closing - regular issue.
