I haven't had any trouble with the "green shower" yet anyway - knock on wood. An ounce of prevention, as they say.
Don't let that thing sit in the garage too much !

 

Why do they say "This upgrade kit is designed for the Jaguar XK8/XKR model years 1996-2005."? Are the 2006 different?

 

All the ones sold as 2006 were built in 2005 so no difference.

Also in the case of that particular statement the range is off by one year because in other countries they were sold as that earlier year. US models range from 1997-2006.
