Default XK8/R Carpet for Dove Interior

I am looking to build a better dead pedal and would like some carpet remnants in the same color as my original carpets. If you have replaced your carpets and still have the old carpets, name your price (within reason) and I'll buy them. Also, haven't quite figured out how to make this new dead pedal, only that my left foot is currently about 2 inches from the stock pedal and I'm tired of not being able to brace myself when my driving gets more spirited.

Mark,

Let us know if you work this out. As you know, I am vertically challenged and would have to wear Frankenstein's boots to reach the dead pedal. Be nice to move it forward a little (OK a lot).

You need 2 inches in addition to the extended footrest / dead pedal?

Perhaps the OE extender bracket could be modified to make it more suitable?

Hey, I never knew it could be adjusted! I'll have to check that out.

Yes, the extension is already installed but it does not really provide that much of an extension; perhaps a half inch. The XKR throttle and break pedals seem to extend further that I am accustomed to on other cars. When I adjust the seat so that those pedals are comfortable, I cannot reach the dead pedal and vice versa. I am of average height, 5'10", but the Jaguar engineer who designed this must have had very long legs!
