Default Xk8 right rear wheel well info

Hello not sure about this but I had my right rear tire blow out on the interstate and was lucky that I was able to keep car under control to stop. But the tire worn off a little area on the wheel well rim on the front of well. I noticed that there was what looked like bondo under the paint. The car wasn't suppose to have been in any accidents but was wondering if jaguar used any kind of filler on there wheel well edges when they produced the car or indeed this car has had some body work done before.

thankyou

Take a magnet and compare the pull on the right vs. left rear well rim. If it 'sticks' more on the left rim than the right, you've got bondo on the right.

That could also be seam sealer where the QP was attached to the inner wheel housing. Difficult to guess w/o detailed photo.

Many clean car fax cars have had accidents or body work. Especially pre 2010 vintage.

I suspect finding an X100 without paint or other body work would the exception.
