XK8 Seat bottoms
XK8 Seat bottoms
Any body know if you can swap L for R seat bottoms? They appear to be symmetrical. My drivers seat bottom cushion gets lots of use, passenger side doesn't. If it were possible to swap, I would. Thanks, Bob

I don't know if they're interchangeable, however, topsonline (Vic's Upholstery Supply) will sell you just the bottom cover as I ordered that for my car several months ago. You don't have to buy the whole interior.

According to JPEC there are different part numbers for LH and RH seat bottom pads. How big a difference it is, I don't know. The squab pads have the same number.
The covers would not be switchable due to cutout for seat switches.

NO - the cutout for the switch pack is on opposite sides.
Tberg's suggestion is the best but an alternative would be to source a used passenger seat from the UK or any other RDH market. Your driver's seat is our passenger seat so the wear is the other way round!
