When I open the driver's door on my 1996 XK8 convertible the window drops a couple of inches. Lift the door handle again and it drops another couple of inches. Has anybody had this (minor) problem and knows how to fix it?
Otherwise a great car I bought from the original owner and I love it.

hi,to reset your windows,press your down switch and hold till you hear a slite clicking sound,then press up and hold till you hear the same sound,your windows should then be reset,do this with your doors closed,your windows should then drop slighty when you open your doors again,do the same on both sides.

 

....and if the problem comes back again your battery is either low and needs a charge or it needs to be replaced.
