Thank you I have most of the manuals but this is great when the car is in one place and I am in another and have to answer questions.

Default Vin 030612

Graham - could you please advise where you found the vehicle guides? The VIN on my '98 is after the VIN cutoff on the list.

Thanks

Stephen,

Did you have a problem downloading any of the Handbooks for your US spec 1997?

Holly,

The full range of XK8 Jaguar handbooks is on the list.

I've checked it after reading your post and found a typo in the 1998 Vehicle Care Handbook entry. The VIN should read 'from' and not 'to'. Now corrected.

If you can't identify the required Handbooks, please post your VIN (with the last two numbers removed so no one can identify your actual vehicle) and I'll reply with the appropriate MediaFire links.

Graham

How did Hollyh get this when he only has 7 posts? I am trying but cannot download as I think I need 10?

Welcome to the forum,
Maybe he went to the new members section, posted an intro and was upgraded by the admin?
Just a thought.
Pointless posts to increase your post count are against forum rules.

Smile Upgraded by Moderator

Stephen,

I was indeed upgraded by the Moderator early as I was VERY familiar with the site and had great success in using a number of the resolutions found within it prior to joining.

Whoops, didn't finish my sentence just above.

I was going to ask if there's any place i can start looking for detailed info until I can access the library, as I already have a car in my sights and want to learn more before I go talk to the the guy today/tomorrow.

Thanks!

Graham, do you know where I might be able to lay my hands on an original Vehicle Care Handbook for my 01 XKR? I have used your resource to download the electronic version, which is great, but I would like to put together a full compliment of original books to keep in the car.
I have the brown folder that resides in the top of the glove box but no Audio book in it. I don't have the (black?) folder that lives in the boot or it's contents.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Andy.

Andy,

Eurojag at Darlington pull out all the handbooks from Jaguars they break and have always been able to put together a spare set for me. A black folder should be available from them too.

I have tried to download a couple of the manuals from mediafire, but keep getting a massage that the documents can't be located. Maybe I typed it incorrectly or didn't do something else I was supposed to do, but had no luck with either the 2000 Driver's Handbook, the 2000 Audio System or 2001 Supplement or the 2001 Maintenance Schedule, all of which I need for my 2001, but didn't see that model year listed in the audio or driver's handbook list. Help, please!
