I think the Detroits look too ghetto. It seems mostly prevalent on cheap wheels... there's so much open space you're forced to stare at ugly (or even nice) brakes. I like my Sepangs much better. They have sort of a classy spoke like quality to them and it's no problem seeing the brakes, especially when the car is moving.

Can we at least agree that the Revolvers are the worst? I like the wheel, but it is so much better suited to the XJ, they just are too heavy looking for the XK. I will submit my friend Mitch's XJ for your consideration (and his car is for sale for those of you in British Columbia):

You certainly have my agreement on that.
I bought my coupe in June of this year, and it had the original 17" Revolvers on it. I quickly went shopping and found four 18" Double-Fives to stuff into the corners. It was a dramatic improvement...along with lowering the rear by 1.25" and installing XKRacer's 25mm spacers in the rear for a better stance.

I've never said that about Revolver wheels either. They look really good on that XJ.
For my XKR, I like the stock Double Five wheels I've got. I do like the look of the Detroits on a Black Coupe (a pic of an XKR Coupe w/ the Detroits is what I ogled prior to buying my car).

I must add that Jaguar Racing Green with Detroits is also my favorite but then I have a dog in this fight so to speak... ;-)

I keep trying to figure out the story being told in that short promo. The guy drives the coupe and the gal drives the convertible. Are they a couple? Are they driving to meet each other? There doesn't seem to be a payoff that makes sense other than 2 people who may or may not be related driving 2 versions of the same car around town.
