Default XKR 2002 won't start

My XKR 2002 has been in the garage for 10 months and I really longed for
a summer ride. It drove like a dream when I put it in the garage last autumn.

Not so now; it doesn't even crank, just "click".
Petrol is there, pumps are new, battery new and full.
All lamps work. Tried to move the gear shift. Checked the fuses that I know.

So - help please.

Clean the chassis ground and positive connections at the main fuses in the boot, also the chassis ground at the right rear of the engine. There are also bulkhead connections at the fuse boxes and the connection to the starter. Any of these could be bad after sitting so long without use.

Do the dash lights and j gate lights work?

Yes, both the dash lights and j gate lights work. My garage is warm and dry so it would surprise me if if any corrosive process has happened. But I will check the points!
I have purchased an OBD reader, Autel AL519. Works perfectly with my Alfa Giulietta 1750 GTV. Anyone know if it works with the Jag?
