Arrow XKR Attracts Way Too Much Attention Vol: Wow Gorgeous

I dont know where to begin. When I bought this car the owner told me he hopes Im a bachelor. I laughed. He stated this because the car turns alot of heads and gets too much attention. Well I drive mines with the top down everybody admires this car so much. They come up to me and say its "Gorgeous". People stop driving to check the car out. They wonder what the car is they think its brand new. Before this care I was a Mercedes and BMW guy. That has all changed. I love Jags and will continue to purchase them. Oh an the new ones are gorgeous cant wait to get the 2010 XKR. Before this car purchase I was deciding between an SL55 and a XKR. I thought to myself I wanted to be different. Sure the SL55 might be faster but the XKR has class, prestige, and distinctive. The SL55 didnt look as gorgeous as the XKR. The Jag had more appeal than the Mercedes. Dont let me talk about the XKR interior because its definitely a cut above the SL55 interior. The XKR overall is the best car I ever driven and owned. I love the attention and compliments this car brings.

Looking forward to seeing some pics of your new ride. By the way, did you say yet whereabouts you are located?

I know what you mean. Lots of turned heads when you drive an XK. When i drove down to show mine to a friend, his wife picked a personalized plate for it "sxonwheels" . I did not think my wife would appreciate that plate on the car, so its free for someone else to use.

I think every Jaguar gets many attention . It makes sense you have a "head turner" considering my XJ40 draws many attention and it's a 4 door sedan

I have a phoenix red 99 xk8 coupe with chrome revolvers, and it is the only one in town.

So yeah its gets my wife a lot of compliments. She just wishes the men giving the compliments were as handsome as the car.

Who says color isn't everything.

I need to ask her where I rate?

How do you like the wheel's look in Chrome? Every now and then I think that I'll have my Double 5's chromed eventually.............but I'll probably chicken out.

I had chrome wheels on the first car, a black one. WOW!

Not sure they make that much difference with a lighter color,

My 98 is Topaz colored and I switched to the chrome revolver style wheels - it made a tremendous difference in the appearance of the car - way better, much sexier.

I'll have to look for a Platinum XKR/8 with the Double 5's chromed, just to actually see them in person. It's a big decision, and they look great as they are, so I don't want to make a mistake.

if you ever saw the difference between the painted revolvers vs the chrome on this car you would have to get the chrome.

Chrome are nice till you curb them, painted can be fixed easily and cheaply. Chrome have to be redipped. Black chrome looks menacing if you like the bad boy tuff blacked chrome look.
If you like the xk, wait till you see the new '10xj in person, its way nicer than pics do it justice....jaguar marches on...bout damn time

Slowly easing out of a parking space at Home Depot this morning with the top, windows and wind blocker down, I stopped to let a pedestrian go by.
Instead, she halted, smiled, and waved vigorously at me to continue backing out.
As I drew out even with her, she said to me, 'That car is so beautiful, I just want to watch it move."

This happens so often that it is not even a surprise anymore and it always leaves me with a good feeling.
