So I am going in for an alignment and I would like the correct data that's needed to fulfill the proper factory specs for an XKR. Thanks

what year? The shop we have here (we have only one) has a 2yo computerized rig .. I will be putting my xk8 into it shortly .. for drill .. and to diagnose some road noise .. we hope. Give me the year, and I'll havem' punch it up and post it for you.

the specs have never changed for XK's only Stype's. And having the latest most up to date software and machine does NOT matter. Our software from Hunter was just changed and still has incorrect Stype specs. I go in and manually enter, change, and save the correct specs. Whatever they have Im sure is correct, now wether or not they know what they doing with them is something different entirely

Brutal and the other techs always recommending starting with the factory specs (you'll find them in the Jaguar Specification Document in our FAQ sticky at the top of these forums to download), then 'load' the suspension to take any account for typical vehicle toe gained by moving forward, then readjust back into spec. Most regular shops won't load it, then when you end up driving it, the wheel ends up too far toe-d out, resulting in additional inside tire wear. (more from just a little negative camber that our cars 'settle' into over the years.)
