Hello,

Does anyone happen to know if the 2001 XK's came with a cover to protect between the radiator/front bumper?

I recently had my car in for service and I am wondering if they forgot to put mine back into place after they completed the inspection/oil change.

Not much protection but this seams to be the part your missing, it is the front bumper undertray👍

 

Grrrr. This kind of thing really upsets me. A tech "lost" my Uncle's XK8 Engine Fascia covers. My Uncle didn't even know they were missing unfortunately until it was too late.

A deer carcass took mine out. Smh, of course on another note, I'm fairly certain a windshield tech broke my engine cover tabs. Smh. Can't prove it though drrrrr

 

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't mine there? I see the black plastic piece around the tow hook attachment anchors.

It looks like my cover is there. But it still looks like another cover could be missing or is this supposed to be wide open?

 

the areas circled in your picture are normally open and the bolt threads are unused, perhaps for an optional cooler. the car is partially a bottom breather as the grille area is insufficient.
