Default XKR Hood

Recent body modifications done on my 98 black/black vert by my daughter's Jeep Cherokee have provided me an opportunity to aquire an XKR hood. This might sound ignorant, but should I be concerned with water ingress into the engine through the hood vents. I live in the Bay Area in California and we do get some occaisional rain. XKR guys..what say you?

Thanks

No, water does hit a few hoses and such, but hasn't been known to be problematic TMK. No more so than driving through a puddle if you think about it. Engine bays are not watertight areas- merely water resistant.
