it's all good, the SVO R-R's have a manual gearbox, T56 with cryo toughened gearsets as in the link I posted....sooo you have an R with big brakes.

Any of the XKR 20" wheels will fit it.

Sounds like to me someone/dealer stuck an extra R on...... I have been in the XKR-R (the one on Top Gear) you wouldn't want it.......
They were very rough around the edges, the error messages and engine light was on all the time

Detroits were the wheels fitted......

Thanks Sean, but here is my ongoing dilemma, according to the fitting or a MK1 XKR 2005 I says PCD 120.65 and ET 35-40 but in an earlier post the ET was 25, which I'm more inclined to think is correct because of the brakes, so I'm not sure that any XKR 20" will fit.

I've ask the garage to take off an old wheel and check the ET stamp from the inside .....

Always those simple things that seem complicated.....

That offset is wrong on the X100 it was 18 - 25mm however the X150 is 35 - 40mm that website has made a mistake

Default XKR Model Type Confirmation

Hi all,

OK after collecting my XKR from it's service I've now established the model.

I thought it had XKR-R on the back but actually it had XKR 4.2-S

So the "-S" corrisponding to the 4.2-S special edition model unveiled at the 2005 Geneva International, 1 March.

Everything corrisponds to the model and in addition it has the R-Performance pack fitted.

Thanks for everyones help on the wheels, I still have a problem though...

Now I know the size (120.65 and offset 18-25) it seems that it's no simple task to find a set that will fit, most wheels now seem to be 108's and then when I do find some that are 120.65 the offset is a mile out.

Any suggestions on good suppliers that I can try ?

Thanks Shaun

I found this Top Gear program very informative on the XKRR
Top Gear compares the Jaguar XKRR to the Aston DB7 GT
