Default XKR Vanquish Conversion on E-Bay

Looks like they may have rebuilt the engine. Looks like a nice job on the conversion and even matched the interior leather to the body color. 2001.

Bit's at $20K atm, boy that's a temptation.

The mirrors, the rebuilt title-meaning the car was totaled, the orange paint on the grill, the misalignment of various body parts, and the price tag makes this car total junk in my opinion. But I admire the hard work.

Then the comment , "needs a little finish", really crawls up my skin, and the car is already at 20 grand wow lol

Saw this a few days ago, and while entertaining, didn't really make me want to rush out and get rid of my XKR. In addition, the qualifier that it needs a little work is a warning label of unknown proportions.

Looks like a bad mish mash of old and new vanquish with a dash of DB9. I'd rather have the XKR.

Somehow the engine shots look like it's been under water.

You can buy a clean Vanquish, low miles for about $60k.. It's better to save up and get the real thing, not much more.

Not a huge fan of the Aston kits but I'd buy this front bumper in 5 seconds If it was available here in USA. It's by a company in Japan I think. Fairy Designs. And they want like 8000.00 for the whole kit. I just want the front!! Argh!!!
I'd put my growler in the middle. Also wish it had the factory fogs from my 2002 instead of the ones pictured.
I know most would hate it but..........

I don't hate it. Probably would look good in person. Would make me look twice driving by until I figured it out! Leave it to you to find it, Phil. That kit car Aston is a POS, and begs the question.....WHY?

No exhaust and a custom differential? Plus the accident history looks like separate front and rear accidents in it's life, plus it hasn't been registered for 3 years, so probably not running, rusty bolts all over the engine, looking like it sat outside without a hood for a while, and who wants to bet the roof is buggered too?

Yikes!

Hey, I like the front bumper I found becausè it retains the XK8ish look with the headlights. It's not screamingly trying to be an Aston! It's no different than paragon using the XF tail lights on their rear mod. Let's face it, makes the rear of the XK8 look exactly like an Aston from behind and almost everyone on this site has raves over his modifications!!
The ebay car looks like a hot mess to me. It's def a poser thing.

I actually found the photo of that front bumper when I was looking for my arden kit when I bought the car. It just came up on a search for front bumper kits.
The ebay kit is a poser and I'm not trying to loose the jaguar!!

Come on, face it. This is soooooo Aaron Martin! I have an XF and get that all the time. What's the difference in changing the front nose or changing the tail end?
Don't get me wrong, I'd have this tail treatment in a second if I had the resources here in the states!! And that more simple nose that keeps the XK8 headlights.

The eBay listing will quickly disappear so here's the photos for the record:

I'll keep my opinions to myself this time. The last time we all slated a modified orange XKR, the buyer arrived as a member.

Fortunately with a g.s.o.h.!
