Jaguar has announced they are going to remake the XKSS for 2017. They will produce 9 cars at a price of $1.4 million each. 5 have been per-ordered, which leaves 4 to go. These cars will not be emission compliant, race or parade and special showing only.

 

As much as Jay Leno loved Steve McQueen's XKSS when he drove it a couple of years ago, I wonder if he will order one. Of course, it won't be nearly the same and I'll bet Leno would not be willing to pony up the retail price for ownership. Since Jaguar would get tons of publicity if Leno owned one, maybe they would be willing to cut him a deal....
