Replaced the chromed Vela's with proper new stock silver wheels. I ended up ordering 4 new wheels, couldn't find 18's that I liked in aftermarket. I dropped the bling to celebrate spring!

This was last year before the HIPCAT plate.
It's not as visible as it would seem, most cars are taller, but I left it on. One must not take ones self too seriously.

How about that? I got new shoes and new sneakers too . The Michelins are a nice improvement, and the Sambas are much narrower than my usual "kicks", better on the pedals.

Hillbilly boyeee!! Back in 2018. Pressure treated lumber with exterior screws. I replaced the starter ring. It was a $600 truck. The transmission rolled sideways on the tranny jack and spilled fluid on the plywood that had been snowed upon. Add some speedy dry and you guess the mess. My advice: don't.

This is a Bradley GT I helped my stepfather build back in 77-78. I was about 14 so I only steered when we moved it around the garage, he sold it a couple years later and took a 74 MGB in trade. Green with a gold stripe, I drove it slow in the drive, like rain man. Did I actually own these? No, but they were formative vehicles that influenced me later. In the garage at the same time was a 67 Camaro RS convertible that was an uncles car. He was f'n crazy so I never even opened a door on that one!

We had a blast of pollen on Tuesday, I hadn't washed and covered the car after a drive on Monday. The car is under a carport and it appears a moth dropped onto the hood and flailed it's way to certain death. Cool.

Here's a pic of a pic of my old 69 Datsun 1600. Taken on Lido Key in approx, 1997 (?). So, I was 33, decent job, nice girlfriend, living on an island, fun car etc. and thought, "I can do better than this". Moron.

Just got back from a ride. Black is tough to keep clean, as we all know. I had a recent compound then a coating of nano-skin (?). I topped it this morning with Collinite 845.

I've driven it a couple times, it's just a little too cold for my delicate hands to wash, but probably today.

These posts reminded me of a pcv breather I replaced on my 330 back in 2014. I opened it to see for myself. The vaned section on the right is supposed to spin under engine vacuum and separate the solid back down the dipstick and the vapor back to the valve cover, if memory serves. It works until it doesn't. Pic is from 2014. I didn't save the part.

My wife was kind enough to step outside and take this. That's the car pocket in use. You can see the battery maintainer at the bottom. These things are huge so I tucked in the sides and used 8 foot bungees.
