Funny, I have an F-Type and I still watch those videos over and over. I flew across the country recently and watched F-Type and other car videos on the plane the entire trip.

Is there something wrong with me?

Zach, you've had great cars. Where does Mclaren fit in? Not a daily driver? Project7 a track car? I would think F Type not exotic compared.

"Had"??

I "have and still own" all the cars listed.

All the cars are very different. The mac is my weekend fun car that just blows my mind every time I drive it. There are many owners of Mac's that drive them everyday, the car is so reliable it is a daily driver. There are some owners who have over 20k miles on them in just a few years.

All my cars are drivers, no garage queens. I try to drive at least 3 or 4 of them every weekend, time and weather permitting. Unfortunately living in the North limits the time to just 6-7 months per year..

The project 7 will be just a weekend fun car. No tracks anywhere close to me, so track days are not on the schedule.

Next summer the F type will be my daily driver for the summer months. The XJL is my daily driver in the winter and rain days.

You need to post a picture of your garage. More accurately, we need you to.

Yeah, that'll do. Mine's just like that, minus all the cars, nice space, good lighting, etc.

What a great space to house all your beautiful cars! Is that epoxy flooring?

No, the floor is Buff colored concrete with highlights in Brown. The coating on top is a Polyhydroxy Compound. The coating is produced by my company and is specifically designed for garage floors. It is impenetrable to any fluid that can leak from a car. Durmax

Thanks! I am researching various options for my garage floor. I live in Florida. I will check to see if anyone in my area is a dealer and/or installer.

I will be interested in seeing how long it takes your car to arrive at dealer after reaching port. My car is scheduled to arrive in Brunswick, GA on 12/1 but dealer says they will not receive it until 12/12. I know it takes a few days to clear Customs etc. but that seems like a long time. The dealer is only about 3 driving hours from the port.

I think the cars are not delivered from the port. They are moved to a distribution facility then loaded on carriers depending on regions. So I think it will depend on where the distribution yard is and when the next truck goes to your area.

Plus yours is a bit of a special case, if it indeed is going from Halifax-Calgary via ground transportation. Hard to imagine a longer haul in North America! One of the Pacific northwest ports would have been much closer, though perhaps not cheaper or faster.

I am taking delivery in Montreal that is why it is going through Halifax. I am pretty sure that all the european cars come through Halifax. It would be quicker than going through west coast terminals. The time to pass through the Panama Canal and make 3 or 4 stops on the west coast before arriving in Vancouver. The train across canada is only 7-8 days.
