AllData subscription promo code 1 year $19.95
I have been looking for a long time to find somewhere on the internet to get Labor time for maintenance and repairs.
Whenever we had Jaguar Dealer Service, we received the bill with Labor time and labor cost/hr plus any parts cost along with the shop supplies and sales tax.
I finally found out that Alldata subscription has just about everything I need (references part numbers, part prices, Labor time and diagrams showing the repair issue, TSBs, etc).
The promo code for the to Alldata's 1 year subscription is Promo code is NET27782. The subscription with promo code is $19.95, it is usually $26.95.
Here is internet link to my post in the Jaguar XJ8 & XJR 1998-2003 section of the forum (go to posting #9) for more informance and screen shots I created from 2 of the Alldata Repair pages:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/j...repairs-52144/
Go to alldata website (www.alldata.com) then choose Vehicle owner from the products dropdown menu to get to the DIY vehicle owners Alldata subscriptions.
We should thank SirJag for starting the thread "Is there a way to estimate # of hours for specific repairs". Also the others in that thread, especially Brutal (Jaguar Tech) for sharing his knowledge with the members of this forum.

One must keep in mind that Alldata has two systems, one for the shade tree mechanics and the other for the pros. I have been using Alldata for several years and it has provided me on the most part what I need to get the job done. And yes you can get estimated costs to see if you are being taken for a ride.

HowTo find promo codes - word selection & arrangment is the key
Hi joycesjag
I found out by experimenting that if you use most important words first in the internet search terms you are likely to receive the best search results.
In this case my first search used "alldata promo". The search results gave a few websites showing information about the professional version (high cost), but showed others with the DIY version.
My next search used "alldata diy promo" and here is the snagit copy of the search results:
I found the best promo deal in the 4th website listed from the top "promotionalcodes.com".
Here is a snagit copy of that promotional codes website page showing alldata promo codes - look at the 3rd promo code down "Alldata diy 1yr subscription: $19.95":
Look at some of my other posts that show how to search for Jaguar parts and other jaguar information such repairs and maintenance.
I use internet search term "Jaguar forums" for whatever I need to find it on this forum then the item (such as engine oil).
Here is an example I put in another thread about Cabin Filter:
The internet search term was: "jaguar forums xj8 cabin filter" and here was the results on the search request (It is the 2nd one listed from the top of the list):
Maybe these internet search methods can be a help to many of the forum members if they get a chance to view them.
