Default Which side is BANK 1?

You'd think this would be easy info to discover - and I even have the massive service manual for it, but it is nearly impossible to search within it: 2020 Jaguar F-Pace SVR, throwing code P2274 (stuck lean, intermittent, O2 sensor Bank 1 Sensor 3 (post cat). Is it, as I think it is, the passenger side (US)? 5.0L Supercharged V8.

Thanks for those who know!

Bank 1 is the RH side when viewed from the driving position.

Check with a Jaguar main dealer to determine if the oxygen sensors are covered under the emission warranty.

I have posted this a number of times because Jaguar has different nomenclature and it gets confusing!

Also A Bank=1 and B Bank=2 as they don't define that either. Plus I can't remember all the variations anyway.

Bank One for a British V engine car is ALWAYS on the driver's side. (RHD)
Since North America drives on the wrong side of the road, bank 1 is NOT on the driver's of a LHD car.

Welcome to the forum IMMensaMind.

Forget about DRIVER'S side and PASSENGER side. LH and RH are always when viewing the vehicle looking forwards from the rear. Doesn't matter which side the steering wheel in on.

I'm in Spain at the moment in my F-Pace and they drive on the wrong side of the road here. It's positively dangerous. In England we drive on the left because our sword arm is facing an approaching assailant.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

And carrying on the way the Romans drove as well so they were prepared to fight if need be.
