Injector recommendations
hi guys,
I have completed a leak off test and one of my injectors failed.
i dont want to spend 200/250 euro on one new injector for my 07 xtype 2 liter diesel , im hoping to get a cheaper refurbished one for 120/130 euro.
can anyone recommend a good website and brand for these refurbished injectors?
i am good at fixing/repairing things also so i might get a diesel injector repair kit and fix it myself for 90/100 euro or so. that way i wont have to get the injector reprogrammed to the ECU as i am using the same one, im just replacing a worn nozzle or other part.
can anyone recommend a website for these repair kits or refurbished injectors?
i would prefer to get the repair kit and clean and fix everything myself if i can.

One of the more established and widely recommended companies in the UK are PF Jones

injectors/ pumps and parts....new and recon'
But that's only half they story ...even if you repair the injector you're self with new parts it's calibration will change ...and should require a new C2i code ...if you're lucky it'll run ok ...if you're lucky.
One of my new colleagues at work is an ex Delphi employee who built diesel CR injectors for a living... I've been picking his brains a bit .

Green state is this C2i code the calibration code? Like the same code on the back of the injectors as if we're to buy a new one?
Also tell me this , if I replace the nozzle on my inject should I see an improvement? Or do i need to replace the copper seal and other parts too? If so do you know the names of these parts?
I'm finding it hard to find Delphi parts, the bosch parts seem to be everywhere but I need delphi parts

U
PF Jones sell Delphi injector parts ...look under diesel spares.....
yes the C2i is the number on the back of the injectors.
and yes you'll see an improvement if it's the nozzle at fault ...
get the injectors tested first....or at least do a leak off test..if you haven't done so already
