what kind of injector cleaner would be best to use

 

I have positive results with Chevron's Techron and Redline's SL-1. Both are used commonly over on the Rennlist Porsche boards. I know many of the 993 air cooled guys use it to minimize carbon problems on the valves. Procedure, 1/2 tank gas, 1 full bottle of FI cleaner and drive it like you stole it!

I Have been using Redline SI-1 since 1992..started with it in my new 300E Benz back then..the techs then told me it's like a shot of penicillian for the engine.



So now I use this BG 44K,as this is what Jaguar recommends atEvery oil change (5000 miles)I put one in a full tank:

 

We use the 44K for pour in service. You may want to take it to a shop that uses the BG flush machine to do the job through and through. You ought to see the cloud that comes out with those machine flushes!
