Yes, I am happy that you found the adobe flash player issue with JEPC.
At least it was not anything wrong with the JEPC software installs.

Thank you for sharing the fix.

Default Thanks Again for Posting this Item

Thanks so much for sharing this item. I've completed the installation and had no troubles. I've already located three small parts I need for my new project - 2000 XJ8. Any recommendations on USA parts source?

Hi All!

In November, 2013 I downloaded and installed this catalog for one purpose - check car's complectation with VIN. Checking work with manufacturer's DB. But from middle of January up to present time this function not work - https://www.newjepc.unipart.co.uk not response. Do you know how I can check Jaguar's VINs now?

Thanks.

The updated JEPC download folder and file contents:

All that needs to done is to download the updated JEPC archive file (JEPC.exe) to your PC desktop or your PC user id download folder.

Then move the JEPC.exe from (your the folder where you downloaded it to) by cut and paste to your C drive (C:\) or drag it onto your C drive (C:\).

Then run C:\JEPC.exe to extract all the folders and files (the extract will create all the folders and files on the C drive).

Copy the shortcut C Drive JEPC that is now in the C:\ folder to the desktop.

That is all that is needed to complete the install.

The Jeg image above shows the contents of the updated JEPC.exe download file, also has snapshots of the updated JEPC folders and files after the JEPC.exe is run on (from) the C drive.

The Login ID is admin (it does matter if you use lowercase or uppercase) the Login becames uppercase anyway.

I am unable to complete the download. It fails at 38.1 MB. Has anyone else run into this problem?

The download is working properly.
I just tested the download - took about 2 minutes to finish successfully.

I sent you for Private message (reply to yours) about diskspace and test your hard drive.
You can use the website - it has most of the same information - jaguarclassicparts.com/uk/jaguar-xj-x308-parts:

Dealers obviously have a nice markup...if the price list is correct...

Either that, or JLRUSA isn't sourcing their supply chain very well..

Do you means the old part numbers you found in the Jaguar Electronic Catalog (JEPC) is now superceded by a new part number?

Example: Throttle Body for X308 XJ part number in JEPC is LNE1560BA.

I almost always go to gaudin jaguar parts.com website and use their part number search with the part number I found in the JEPC.

The search with LNE1560BA comes up as the old part on their website and it says part number superceded, then gives C2A1445 as the new part number.

Another example: JEPC Part number LNC3030AG is gearbox harness. The search on gaudin website does not say it is superceded by any new part number, so LNC3030AG is still the current part number.

Here is a photo of the part information paper tag attached to the harness (Ebay photo):

Here another Photo of the entire harness:

I think you were asking about the gearbox harness on your 1998 Xk8.

@jimlombardi

Hi Jim, yes i was searching as same as system like gaudin also i found parts.com whic system same as gaudin. I have found my gearbox harness on Germany. In Turkey cars lhd. Also, is there a system for epc whic inclued superssion part numbers?

Last year i had found epc 2013 and it has inclued even F Type! Now, i cannot find EPC2013 and for a while epc 2013 allowed find number and superssions part number by using epc online. However, Jaguar realized the bug and cut it off!

I think someone who has epc online for pc it can upload part numbers folder on the web and we can find easily find part number even it has been changed

Best Regards
Burak

Wekrico,
Did anyone ever reply to your question? I read through most of these posts but I may have missed someone successfully viewing the EPC on an Apple Mac. I have a 2006 Macbook Pro that is 64 bit. It appears that the download info here is strictly for Windows machines.
