Hi, follow the Download link in my signature.

Hit the X350 Downloads option.

Then General Jaguar documents.

Scroll down and you will find the Workshop US01 through US06 files. + loads of other goodies.

What Service Manual for your 2004 XJ do you need?

Looks like the Driver Owner Handbook has everything that the combined X308 Vehicle Care Handbook and Driver Owner Handbook had.

If you need the Driver Owner Handbook, you can download it - see post# 19.

I have recently been in touch with Jag about the Owners handbook for the X350

(it is supposed to be downloadable, but their link was, by mistake, just for a Quickstart Guide)

They have sent me the file for a 2009 X350, and I understand intend to load it onto the website shortly. Other model years will be slightly different and are not downloadable. It will be in the Owners section, handbooks and guides, prior models. The Quickstart Guide and Brochure are also there.

Within the past month, I was able to locate the Handbooks for the 04 XJ8, albeit separate chapters, I enjoy the challenge. Now, I find myself in the position of trying to locate the same (and/or more) for a 2003 Vanden Plas. I do not understand how a person of my ability for figuring things out (it's quite good) cannot seem to duplicate what I once did within a score of this day. I am 98% certain I used this thread/link to achieve my goal as well. Even though I've been inundated with page, after page after page, etc, I would assume I could locate the files with ease or, at the very least, without as much difficultly. Please understand that i don't post these help requests often and only after expelling a great deal of time and energy in my quest. I would approximate this search at four to five hours as I am quite stubborn as well. Any assistance locating the manuals in downloadable format from the shortest chapter of the Owner's Handbook to the full Workshop Manual would be absolutely appreciated. As always, you have my gratitude for your time and assistance!.

Regards,
RAGMAN!!!

I can understand the stubbornness!

Have you found the forum download area? It's a mine of info, have a browse and I'm sure you will be rewarded.

I just downloaded all of the 2007 Jaguar XJ Owners Handbook - (73) sections - and combined them into a large PDF file (252 pages):

You can find the workshop manual for the X350 here in the forum download folder:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/g...r-index-50609/

In the X350 Section, there are 6 separate PDF files.

US001 - Table of contents
US002 - 1. General Information
US003 - 2. Chassis
US004 - 3. Powertrain
US005 - 4. Electrical
US006 - 5. Body & Paint

I can see a line "X 350 XJ8 2004-2010 (off forum file download area, all users)"

is that the one you mean?

Contents do not correspond to your description so perhaps not.

Yes, I am sure that is the X350 Workshop PDF that Cambo351 meant in the Jaguar Forums File Download Area, Folder Index.

It has a few problems - 1st there are 6 PDF files to download - each section of the manual -

I downloaded them yesterday, then I combined all 6 of them into one PDF file - totaled over 6400 pages.(68 mb).

None of the 6 PDF files have had any OCR Text Recognition run on them - therefore the find function in the PDF reader does not work.

There are no Bookmarks in any of the 6 PDF files, so it is almost impossible to find what you need in the over 6400 pages.

I have spend at 8 hours so far - I needed to completely reorganize the Table of Contents PDF file to get most of the related topics on each page - Also after I combined the 6 PDF, I had to use Acrobat Pro to do the OCR text scan.

I finished all the Bookmark higher layers and am currently going through the Table of Contents and putting in the reference page numbers for all the items list (48 pages of them).

Boy - what a mess.

I not sure how much longer it will take me to get it working properly.

You can buy a fully functional X350 Workshop Manual PDF file download from jagsdoc.com for $12.28:

Here is JPEG showing the X350 Workshop Manual files on the Jaguar Forums Mediafire website, also shows the download folder on my PC after I downloaded the files.

The file at the top is the combined 6 files into one file.

It also has the Title page showing the VIN range covered in the Workshop manual and part of the Table of Contents page.

Jim, where can I find a parts list for my 2004 xjr? I think I found a general xj8 section ,but am sure there must be something more specific. Is there a place on or off the site that I can check parts numbers against my VIN? Thanks in advance

You can download the Jaguar EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog) from my dropbox account:
use this weblink to the EPC thread - look at post# 54

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...s-48194/page2/

here is almost the full address:
jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-xj8-xjr-x308-27/full-jaguar-epc-download-complete-install-instructions-48194/page2

info from post# 54
I decided to put all the folders and files into a single file JEPC download to provide a better method of downloading to a single folder on the hard drive, then moving the downloaded file to the C drive. See instructions below.

Here is the weblink to the updated JEPC:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/jdroz6d0u8m1aql/JEPC.exe

Here is an example of the EPC showing instrument cluster parts for your 2004 XJR: (note: top section shows Vin Range, then the parts group (speedometer/tachometer and gauges), then model type (Petro, 4.2 Liter Supercharged, MPH with KPH sub scale, USA, then the various Vin Ranges):

Here is where you start with model section by vin number range:

Then the Parts grouping:

Then the Parts sub groups: (our example of the instrument systems and controls - instrument pack)

You can also use gaudin jaguar parts website - allows you to put in your vin number to get to the correct parts selections: also gives you the part numbers and the superceded part number

Genuine Jaguar OEM Factory Parts sold at Wholesale Prices | GaudinJaguarParts.com

here is almost the full address:
gaudinjaguarparts.com

These are the parts resources that I use.

Hello,

I have Jaguar XJ6, manufactured in 2004, VIN G29843. I cannot find any manual or workshop manual to this version (all manuals here or elsewhere are for V8 engine versions, but none for V6 petrol).

I just discovered that my front brake pads are too thin and require urgent replacement, but I cannot find them anywhere. I could not even locate it through online shops, as there seems to be some differences between model years. Most of the online retailers sell parts for car with VIN higher than G4*****, although there is no description what is the difference and would these new ones fit or not.

I went to local Jaguar dealership, but they have no idea about any Jaguar manufactured prior to 2009. They did offer to order pads for me, but said they could not guarantee those parts will fit (and I have to pay for them anyway, no matter they fit or not).

Can anybody help?
Thanks
Greg.
