The Windshield gasket ended up being a URO, I thought I was buying a NOS one but it wasn't. This one actually fit really well. The other two I had were at least an inch too long.

*Very* pretty car!
You should certainly be able to get $12.5K for that!
I had a bunch of guys standing around mine one day early last Spring, one of them asked what I would take for her I said off the top of my head, "Oh, maybe 10," and they didn't even blink! In fact, I could see the wheels spinning as they were thinking how they could get it THAT DAY!!

Got a little bit more work done on the car. First I was able to sort out the window wiring and get the console buttoned up. Once I figured out the wiring pattern of how the switches all daisy chain together it was no problem. All six switches are functional now.
I have gotten to work cleaning up the paint also. It had quite a bit of trash in it from just sitting all of those years in a filthy shop. It looked pretty good but there were some areas that were dulled up and lots of swirls. I washed it twice and then clay barred the whole car down twice over again. This alone made a substantial difference in the shine from the paint. Next I went after it with a fine cut compound followed up with a Sealer/polish combo. It's starting to pop pretty good now. I'll take some outdoor shots if the weather ever decides to clear up down here.
I'm hoping to get the exhaust finished up this week, that will just leave the headliner install and C-pillar trim to go. Getting pretty close!

I finally got the windows working smoothly enough to be able to hang the new door cards with a bit of confidence that I wouldn't have to pull them right back off haha! Headliner aside the interior is all back together. I got the boot cleaned up and am hoping to get the exhaust work done before I have to head back out of town later this week. I'm getting some movement on my home sale as the weather down here improves. I have a feeling that I am going to need to move this car in the next 60 days. I'm ready to get this car sold just so it's off of my plate as I have a ton of other things that I need to focus on. I'm willing throw out a forum special of 9500$ if anybody is interested.

If I was stateside I'd go into debt for that car. It's the rarest, & most desirable, of all the XJ6 variants. It was only made for two years & the attrition rate's been horrendous. So there aren't too may out there. My Mechanic's got a beauty. with the fold back roof et al. & he assures me that it's one of only 22 cars in Australia, like that, & not many more world wide! I know this car doesn't have a fold back roof. But it has had an extensive renovation, which we've all witnessed as it progressed. So we know it's a good 'un. & while I don't know what prices are like in the US, I'm sure that car will do nothing but appreciate for years to come.
