I never knew they were the creators of the Elite exhausts, make sense now.
Yeah I'm only over in Nottingham and had been getting my car looked after by Nottingham Jag Tech who are a great bunch of guys. I didnt realise till random youtube exhaust hunting and then googling that they were so close!

do you ever take the XK on the track? I occasionally do an evening session at Donnington with a couple mates (although one of them came out worse in a argument with a wall... XFR)

Hi, they are literally at the bottom of the A52, of the Pentagon island, on the road behind the Stradstone Aston showroom and situated on stores road.

Did you have to modify the rear bumper for the twin pipes.

Both the XK (dual pipes) and the XKR (quad pipes) use the same rear bumper cover. The center section under the bumper and between the pipes are different and easily changed between the two. They also are not very expensive and come in different styles dependent on where you buy.

I will add to this thread with my new custum made system from a company called 8ru.
Very pleased indeed with the sound at both low, mid and high RPM.
Cracks and pops and sounds like thunder. The tail pipes still need some hight adjustment, which will be done some time this week.
All together very pleased the beast has been released

Since you plan to make some adjustments, you might consider rotating the clamps on the finishers, to put the bolt ends 'up', it would make for a nicer look from the rear, not so 'pasted together'. Otherwise, pretty nice looking.

Took some time (due to issues with houses etc) but I was over at Elite and performance Jag (Elite RR that make the backbox we discussed in this thread) and had a lip spoiler, service, side skirts, ball joints etc... chewed through a pretty portion of my wallet and still not gotten the exhaust however I did have a chat about it and the potential for a group buy. He said he would be interested but would be requiring a quantity of 10 people minimum with a single purchase rather than calling one off at a time. He said there would be a "discount" but wouldnt stipulate what this would be. I said I'd post and get a feeling for interested parties. I think it could be fairly easy to organise if we have the numbers.

Are there enough people interested ? and if so who would want mail order and who would want to go collect/ have it fitted? videos below...

before and after video on NA XK

Who makes the best sounding (loud, throaty, poppy, deep) exhaust for a XKR in the United States?

I liked the sound of the stock exhaust, but wanted more. I looked all around and decided to try just changing the cats out to a lower cell count.

I had a friend replace the stock cats with some Magnaflow 100 cell cats using the remaining the stock XKR exhaust and the sound is glorious. It can be very subtle when cruising around or coming home late, but when you put the car in Dynamic mode the car comes alive and sounds mean. It is throaty, loud, deep and poppy, which I like. Imagine the stock exhaust note amplified 2-3 times when getting on the loud pedal...exactly what I wanted.

Good luck
