You are entitled to your opinion and I respect that. However, Restore has been used by many with Nikasil blocks with positive results and you can read them on this forum. It may be a placebo by many but has given many a peace of mind and positive results in stabilizing compression issues related to Nikasil.

You are not the only person on this forum to express concern and I would guess you will not be the last.

My personal view would be to not use this product unless you already have developed a problem, then its a different ball game again.

You refer here to cars that already have a problem that have used it. As I said that’s a different ballgame again, as the damage is already done.

Don't you find it intriguing to say the least that the properties advertised for engine restore contradict what’s known to be good for an engine?

Just to note, I have not said that engine restore couldn't have its effects, other then I wouldn't use this in a good engine (particular nikasil ones).

Just my 2 cents.

Talking Restore

Following Gus's advice I put a can of Restore in my engine. My engine runs so well that it sounds like a brand new engine. It had the typical light ticking of an engine with 104k miles (even after oil changes). It's so silent now that when it's running with the hood up and you're looking at the engine, you almost have to put your hand on it to make sure it is really running. Inside the car at an idle at a stop, I can barely hear or feel the engine now.

OH DA POWAH AND DA GLO-REH OF DA CAN OF RESTORE!!!!!!
