Default 2001 xk8 GOT DETAILED NOW ISSUES

Hi all,
BEEN AWHILE SINCE i WAS HERE,
HAVE A 2001 XK8. HAD IT DETAILED AND NOW ITS IN LIMP MODE...??
What can I look for, I see No water standing anywhere. Car starts right up , has Mis and will not move in Drive.. Reverse Yes..

Sounds like maybe they sprayed water where they should not. Did they wash the engine bay? Any codes?

They didn't detail the engine bay..?? But the hood was open a little bit. So Yes water got to something but WHERE?
It just happened so tomorrow I will get codes...

If the hood was open, water could have gotten into the two covered boxes in the bulkhead extension, which contain fuse and relay enclosures, or further down the driver's side into the fuse box and connectors between the ABS Module and Shock Tower. You might try compressed air and electronics cleaner to dry out any water that cannot be seen and clean the plugs and connectors, do this with the battery disconnected. If you have a garage with heat, I would raise the heat and open the hood and lids to help dry things out if water is the problem. The following document shows the location of the fuse panels, fuse function and relay charts. The relevant information begins on page 4-12.
