If the hood was open, water could have gotten into the two covered boxes in the bulkhead extension, which contain fuse and relay enclosures, or further down the driver's side into the fuse box and connectors between the ABS Module and Shock Tower. You might try compressed air and electronics cleaner to dry out any water that cannot be seen and clean the plugs and connectors, do this with the battery disconnected. If you have a garage with heat, I would raise the heat and open the hood and lids to help dry things out if water is the problem.
