I can only get the New XK manual to down load in sections vs. the complete book. Is it just me or is that the way it is?

DON'T YA JUST LOVE IT!!!!!

While I am the original owner of my Jag and I have the owner's manual, I must say that this is great!!!! This saves going out to the car and getting in it to read something or other!

MOST EXCELLENT THREAD!

I'd just like to thank you for posting this link and pointing out I have found it invaluable in my '07 to '11 conversion research.

Is this still available? I've tried the download a few times with both I.E. and Firefox and it just hangs on a blank page.

Thanks in advance! Just getting to know my
"new to me" XK8 black/black convertible, and doing my usual "nook and cranny" inspection from boot to hood to get to know my new car. I always print out any manuals I can find, but is this the "how to" little one in the glove compartment, or an actual full tech manual? I have the original glove compartment walk through the buttons one with the car.

Looks like a lot of good info, but to new of a version, I got a 2001. I will look around for a link to that. Thanks for posting all the good info, this makes it so much easier to track down problems!

Thanks for the link to the download! I downloaded to my home computer and sent a copy to my office so I can use at the office either when I have an issue to research or when there's a few minutes to spare.

I think its a microphone for the phone communications. I know Audi R8's have one on the seat belt and it's a microphone.

Yes, I to need link for the 2000 XKR owners manuals, repair manuals. My glove box was empty when I bought mine. I have so many questions to look up in them. So if you find any down loads for our years please let me know??
Thanks, Robert

Unless you have another Jaguar or have changed your vehicle, I think you are posting in the wrong forum......

Your profile shows a 2000 XJ8 (X308) but you mention a 1994 XJ6 here.

If you are referring to the RES button on the steering wheel, this is to RESUME cruise control.

Default Spare keys, manuals

Ya know, when I sold my Mitsu 3000Gt I included all manuals, keys, fobs, etc - even the window sticker when new. I have all that for my 2005 Avalanche. When I bought my 2000 XKR, I got 1 key and 1 fob, nothing else. The manuals cost a small fortue, but I bought them. I got a spare fob on eBay for $35 and instructions (so simple) on how to program it for $6 also on Bay - a bit better than the $200 +50 te dealers wanted. I got a key ground from a repair shop for $125, also less than dealer. So - everybody - be considerate, and at least put this stuff aside for the next owner.

Does anybody else have problems opening the Jaguar Handbook PDF?

I have tried several times without success. Is there another website where I can download a 2009 XK handbook?

Thanks,

JPF
