Hi, I have tried a couple of times to download a manual, and I get a message that the site is not working. Anybody know the best place to get real, hold in your hand, paper manuals? Thanks

Your forum user profile indicates you have a 2003 XKR. If so, you are asking the question in the wrong forum.
This is why we ask members to add vehicle details to their Signatures.
In the UK, the XK8/XKR 1997-2006 manuals are no longer available from the dealer and I'd be surprised if they are still available in the USA.
That link seems to be broken now. I kicked around their site a bit and did not see handbooks for my model and year. If it's still there somewhere, I would like to have the link.
Select your language (English) and country (USA). Accept the cookies policy, then under Browse TOPIx without registering, click the dropdown box to select your model - XK/X150 is the current XK series (2007-2015 alloy-body, 4.2L/5.0L) and click the dropdown box to select your model year and then click Find, which will take you to the next page.
At the far right of the page, click DOCUMENTS and on the left side of the page click Owner's Information, and then click on Owner's Handbook and click on choice #1, Owner's Handbook.
That will take you to the table of contents and you can search for whatever is of interest to you.
Hope this helps! If so, please click "Thanks" at the bottom right corner of this post.
Topix versions are incomplete. You may just get parts of sections, not all pages.

I am having trouble with the links (tried in several browsers). Does anyone have a link for the handbook for my 2008 XK. I just got it and unfortunately, my glove box was bare... ____________________________________

Thanks, TOPIX, for revising your website and eliminating the "Browse TOPIx without registering" dropdown box. That prevented everyone without a subscription from accessing the X150 Owner's Handbook online who used the link in my Post #27, above.
GOOD NEWS! I just found a new link for free access on Jaguar Topix to Owner's Handbooks! Click here and follow the prompts: Jaguar Owner Information
DAMN! Screwed again! I followed the prompts and free access to Owner's Handbooks is available for current models only. Earlier models get forwarded back to the same old Topix page that requires a paid subscription for further access! It's a Catch-22 and Groundhog Day rolled into one!
Back to square one.
P.S. I emailed Jaguar USA Customer Service and asked if they could help.
