Hey, sorry if this is a really basic question, but I have a 2004 Jag X-type without a touch screen. I have a sirus starmate 5 that I would like to wire directly into the radio so I don't have ugly wires running all over the car. I understand removing the radio and wiring the FM module, but how would I wire the power. Is it as easy as just buying a kit like this: http://www.tss-radio.com/sirius-vehi...it-p-4438.html
and plugging it in? Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly, there is no real advantage to getting the piece that plugs between the radio and the antenna. It is still FM modulated.
But if you decide to go that wat you can splice into any hot wire running off the acc curcuit. There are 2 wires going into the adaptor, 1 hot 1 ground, so wire accordingly. There is a mounting kit available that goes on the right side of the fascia too. Then run all the wires in behind the radio when you have it out and it looks pretty clean.
For a super clean install with crystal clear sound get the ACM. Costs around 300.00 but gives you USB, Aux and ipod connectivity and goes in the CD stacker curcuit. That way you are directly wired in with fiber and no FM modulation issues.
