Your the best! Seems like even without a cd changer. The car is prewired so I should be up and running in 12 mins? I hope waiting for the package will be the hardest part for me. haha you slso mentioned your jag not having a cdc, Did you have to do anything to the fiber optics?

always thanks in advance buddy

I had to order an extra cable. I got it off eBay; you only need 1 end of it, so the other end, I sent to a fellow forum member; you may wanna chk in advance, because some cars have an extra loop, but if not, just grab you 1 & splice it into the loop...

That's it. The power for/from the changer is already there. So yeah, the hard part is waiting for the unit (or the loop if you hehe to order 1)

Someone on here may have an extra??? (Anyone?)

Here's how to splice it

Hi there, I have a jag xk and right now I can only connect my phone via bluetooth to answer and make calls. So I was considering to buy this kit, where can I find it?

Alas the kit would not work for your car. Depending on the model year XKs use either an earlier Apline system or newer MOST fiber optic system and my kit is not compatible with neither.

Not to hijack the thread, but I picked up an ACM for an XKR (mistakenly) a while back. I wouldn't mind getting rid of it.

PM me to discuss taking it off my hands. I don't want to continue the hijack here.

Hello Veffremov, I have quoted the wrong info but hey! I have just joined the forum to talk to you. I was wondering are you still making the bluetooth kits? As i would be exstreamly interested, if so do you post to the UK. I have an 07 plate x350 that needs modernising!

Anyone point me in the direction/link for digitalising my jags TV?

And a good jag electricion as i have a distinct lack of functional screens in the back and a faulty auto head light switch

Thank you all

Matthew

Hi is it possible to still buy the Veffremov bluetooth kit? I have a 2003 xj8 sport with the cd changer in the back. Is there a link or contact for Veffremov so I can contact him to buy one?

best regards

Mike

This bluetooth can connect to any model of the xj8 right? I got the XJ8 L with Navi and cdc. I'm seriously considering buying this if it can work for me. I'm tired of using 7 cd's LOL.

Yes! You ask any one of us, & we'll quickly tell you, "it's nothing to even think about!" Haha
