The purpose of this is to document one experience with the installation of jaguar voice to 05 Super V8. This sequence shows a 'mock up' to test functionality (bypass phone module) and a final installation (utilizing modified optical cable).

1. Jaguar VACM 28RF-14B292-BD and instructions
2. Remove 2 TOrx bolts holding trunk floor
3. Remove trunk floor

(Remove 4 securing buttons)
(Peel away side carpeting)
(Disconnect Battery)

4. Expose ICE stack
5. Phone Module on bottom of stack
6. Remove 4 bolts which mount stack to car (3 bottom, 1 side)
7. Nav ID Tag
8. CD ID Tag
9. Phone ID Tag
10. ICE Stack with VACM mounted above phone module
11. Replace bolts which mount ICE stack to car
12. Front of ICE stack with VACM mounted

(Connect Battery)

13. Test and Setup - Perform Voice Training

I did not have the proper optical cable, so I bypassed the phone module for testing purposes. Had to add a connector to the cable for the 'new' ACM device.

14. Spare 'termination' loop cable leftover from ACM install.
15. Lean ICE stack forward and remove the optical cable from DVD, NAV, Phone, Changer and Car connections.
16. Car's optical cable - removed
17. Spare 'termination' loop cable leftover from ACM install. Use this to add a connector to the existing cable.
18. Car's cable and spare to be integrated. (Big thanks to veffremov for providing guidance on this process!)
19. Pry back white sheath.
20. Connector 'exposed'
21. Lift clips and slide fiber cables out of connector.

(Battery disconnect)

22. Reassemble - integrating spare ACM cable.
23. The connector with two label 'flags' is the new connector.

(Reconnect optical cable to all devices)
(Replace ICE bolts)
(Battery connect)
(Replace side carpet and 4 button fasteners)
(Replace trunk floor and fasteners)
