I know several people are using these or similar head units here.
I made a CD of the update firmware, put it in the deck and it indicated "Software updating" but never seamed to complete after 1/2 hr.
Has anyone had this occur, it is very dangerous because Kenwood states that if you interrupt things during the update you may loose ALL function of the deck, so I consider myself lucky and don't want to just try again.
I am talking about the software in the head unit, NOT the garmin maps update.
