Default Navigation Is Lost?

Is there some way to "calibrate" the nav system in my 00' XJR? I tried to use it the other day for the first time (new-to-me car) and it was way off on directions. I understand that the map is outdated, but it wasn't even close on streets that are older than I am. Any suggestions?

make sure the antenna is not disconnected (back in the boot), I heard of one actually getting knocked loose. You're street IS on the map right, you're saying you're just not where you're supposed to be?

That's correct. It does have the general location correct, just not specific. Where exactly is the navigation antenna located?

in the settings menu you cn adjust the actual location. It will need to be adjusted through your main menu. You must be parked with the engine running to adjust though.

Wasn't me but I think it may have been someone else who had been installing the pressure check valve for the convertible pump. If you search through threads on the XK8/XKR forum regarding the convertible hydraulic hoses/relief valve you should find that guy's post.
