G'day all, just want to let you know Graham (GGG) has renamed this thread for us as a MEETINGS thread. This means we can keep our first day run posts together with all future meets. I am thinking (as suggested over lunch) that our next one should be at the Hunter Valley early next year......any thoughts?
Would be good with a weekend overnight option for any who wanted to stay the
night.............

Er . . . Yes! My early New Year's Resolution . . . must stop buying more Jaguars! Alternative #1 (as promulgated by my dear wife Chris) . . . He/She who dies with the most toys . . . WINS!

Hunter Valley is a bit of a stretch for me, but I'm up for it, depending on date etc. Tamworth or Armidale preferred . . . and I hereby forecast a Northern NSW joint get-together with our Queensland colleagues but, for that, I'll start a new thread.

Ken, I think any further than the Hunter Valley for a day run from Sydney would also be a stretch .......however if northern NSW members (or anyone)wanted to meet up in Armidale or Tamworth I'd certainly be up for an overnighter. Also this thread is for Meets and Runs so you can certainly use it if you wish....

Calling all JF members in the Tweed to Tibooburra via New England region.

Our previous combined NSW/QLD InterState Meet at Ballina in 2014 was a great success . . . so this post is a "heads up" for a re-match that is in the planning stages. Venue is planned for Stanthorpe / Tenterfield area . . . superb scenic backdrops for a country drive in the Grand Touring tradition.

Rather than duplicate posts in both States, can I suggest you check the QLD section. There, [paulyling] has started a thread. With my relocation from Coffs Harbour to the Sapphire City of Inverell . . . I am happy to act as a Northern NSW point of contact to complement Paul's work in Queensland. So, c'mon all you owners of all those bootiful *****-cats . . . Armidale, Brissie, Cobar, Coffs, Gold Coast, Roma. Be in it!

Yep, I am a definite starter, and I look forward to renewing friendships over what can be a great weekend. Hope to see you there!!!
