It will be nice to see the two 74's side by side.....have you picked it up yet?

 

Picked it up last Monday after discovering it needed a new starter motor on the first day I was supposed to pick it up, which was the week before. This was subsequently fitted and I risked a run to work on Thursday. I filled the pots on the SUs and the more I drove it the better it got. Some work to do to minimise oil leaks but will be fine for the Goulburn run.

Haha, I was thinking about new people, that we haven't heard from yet.

 

No one new "yet" ...but I'm always hopeful. Really looking forward to giving the jag it's first long run, and meeting up.

 

Well Spring is here and 17 days away from our Goulburn Run.....lets all chime in so I can book the restaurant ( just to be sure)......I believe it's 6...plus partners?
Let me know........as we get closer we can exchange mobile numbers and set a start time......I'll book lunch for 12pm, how's that sound!

Also I've asked Graham (Super Mod..GGG) to put this thread into a sticky at the top of the page.....a meeting thread.

 

All planed and ready to go. The Jag has been cleaned, detailed and running the best it should. My cleaner (14 year old Jag obsessed son) has been booked for the day before to give it another clean over. Very much looking forward to catching up with fellow Jag owners.

We will be a party of three, wife, son and I.

That's great....I'm thinking of meeting somewhere along the way for those who want to go together from Sydney....I'm in the Hills District so will probably take the M7...Those who want to go straight to Goulburn can meet at Rosie's Restaurant at 12pm.....will give some thought for a meeting place,or if anyone has a location in mind yell out!

I am trying to find a location out of Sydney we can meet to drive together, but if we don't we'll meet at 12pm.....It would be nice to drive down with someone as after all I'm driving a 42yo car.....even though fully serviced and running well
