I'm in northwest Sydney......between Castle Hill & Glenhaven,
But I'll drive anywhere to meet up.

 

My mate got back to me with suggestions:
"Park Cafe
Roses Cafe (good but pricey)
Astor Hotel for pub lunches
Bakehouse Bakery near Maccas
Paragon, Goulburn's version of the central cafe
And just for you, they are building a hungry jacks soon..."


I believe that the Astor Hotel is owned by the same people as the Royal Hotel in Queanbeyan. I have always had a good meal in the Royal.

A quick search shows Roses Cafe as very good, so I think we'll settle for that.
As we get closer I'll book and we can discuss times etc....

Ha, murphy's law, the kids are out at Picton and we normally stay down in Wollongong and commute up. No worries, a meet/lunch can be arranged as we all like driving our cars after all.

With you it's 5 starters (and I'm buying lunch) three from Sydney and Jim (Jim5_0) is from just outside Canberra I believe...maybe send him a PM (private message)......looking forward to it as it'll be our first day run for NSW...I'm sure the first of many....as the time draws closer we can chat about meeting and times etc.....probably a good idea for the three Sydneysiders to drive together and maybe you could link up with Jim (the other one).
