Hi all,
I have found myself a really nice pair of HE bumper bars for my XJ-S however they came without the reinforecement beams so I just have the rubber , lights and chrome.

The guy who sold them to me told me that I cannot fit them to my 1978 reo bars but they will fit using the front and rear re inforcement bars of any series 3 XJ6-XJ12 sedan.

He also told me that Aussie delivered HE's had steel re inforecement not alloy.

Is all of this information true?

No idea myself Jim, maybe ask the question in the XJS section as well...

Or you could pick up some bumpers from a Series III XJ and try it out? Should be able to pick some up cheap...
