Hi Zaphop, you can come and go any time of the day. You can park anywhere near the pit areas, we just got the VIP package because it gives you shade. And the guys doing the track challenge have somewhere to prepare. Our shade is yours, just BYO chair. The forum photographer(me) will go to your car for a photo. Unless ,of course you book a VIP package along side us. If you decide to come and want a VIP, PM me for the names of who to ask to be placed with.

I will also have a BBQ in my garage.
Most raceways ban gas bottles so my BBQ uses petrol!!!

BYO snags ect for lunch

Cheers

Thanks for the offer

I know in the past, depending on the event, they have a hot dog stall as well as the canteen always open too. Sometimes on the bigger events they even have merchandise stalls which is cool but only really seen that on the Lakeside Classic day

Both looking good.

I like things that go "Boof", petrol fired BBQ sounds like my kind of thing.
I will be packing raw animal flesh and bread rolls for sure!

Often over priced and not the best quality.

Anyway the offer is there, bring your food as the BBQ will be available to all in the pits.

PS getting ready for the next fire here. Last one burnt for 3 days this one is bigger and will need more petrol!!!!

Cheers

I'll be first to take up the offer.

First couple of visits to Qld Raceways(Ipswich circuit) for the ASBK races resulted in cold chips and dry rolls for the hotdogs because they make them in bulk and store then under those light box thingy's.
Always pays to make a couple of fresh sanga's and fill the saddle bags with beer on ice!
You do get some strange looks when water is dripping from your saddle bags in the line at the entrance.

Last 10 years has been me carrying the chairs and beer on various bikes. Because some blokes don't like strapping stuff the theirs just in case they scratch the paint.

Not sure if this qualifies for the "pyro award" but here is a pic of the preparations for my next fire

I have hauled about half the material to the fire, have 3 more piles of cut tree drying out before it goes up.

To give you the scale the pile so far is about 10m long, 1m high, 2m Wide

Have cut out 5 trailer loads of logs for splitting that won't go into the fire and have about 4 more loads to do.

Well Managed to burn it all off yesterday before the rains started.
Ended up with hot coals about 2m Round and 1m high that burnt down to ash overnight

Looks like a good few days to get my modified thermostat into the XJR
Need to do a bit of die grinding on the housing to make the thermostat fit

Good job while its raining along with working on the bender (from futurama) mailbox

Cheers

Well guys. Just over a week to go! I'm getting excited.

Have we rallied some more troops yet?

How many from Jaguar Forums is coming?

I hear the banner will also make and appearance and also that is now more valuable

No more interest so far Paul, but I will send one more round of PM's this weekend.

Yes the banner will be there, it is sporting quite a few sigs now.
I believe it has just travelled the famous "Yellow Brick Road" to get the Wizzard of Oz to sign it.

I might share the advert again on Aussie Jags FB page. I know one of the blokes on there was interested.

Noosa Area Not too familiar with the area but nice spot

Lakeside Park maybe could coincide with something else on the same day. Don't think they do an all British but maybe just use it as a meeting point? Depending on whats on there they sometimes have a $10 entry fee to get in, but anybody can go and park there, and you can even go around the pits to check out the cars. Here is their calendar
QLD Raceways - Calendars

could even include in the same day a drive to place mentioned below or separate days:

Dayboro awesome bakery there and beautiful scenery

Just some ideas but definately keen for something we can agree on

Count me in, will be nice to make the old girl breathe a little
