Surprised they were out so early doing this. I guess if you are dumb enough to do it in the the first place then logic/planning probably wont be a strong point.

Shame they dont take it to the track. Roll racing on a motorway in prime time is sort of asking for trouble of all kinds.

I worked at Yatala off the M1 for a couple of years doing night shift. I had a 2 metre wide window in front of my machine with a perfect view of all six lanes. Often a few cars would make a rolling blockade doing about 40km/h so their mates could drag race with no traffic.
Well organised using spotters etc. They always seemed to escape up an off ramp just before the police arrived.

A well known road for this kind of stuff.

 

I guess regardless of all the great facilities up there people will still want to do stuff on the street when they want to do it. Cant really be too critical, having perpetrated some pretty stupid stuff myself at that age. However the level of equipment has ramped up quite a bit since then. Hope the police can hose down the enthusiasm at bit.

 

Guilty too, but we were in HQ's and Falcons or any other nondescript old 4 bangers. Not super fast twin turbo etc rice burners.

It is lot better than about 5 years ago now they are using choppers as well.
