Default Message of Sympathy to a Great Mate . . .

Some, perhaps many of you, will have learned that our great mate and fearless champion across many JaguarForums, Clarke, has suffered the passing away of his Dad back in New Zealand.

Now Clarke would not seek any fuss, but some explanation seems warranted for what may be his occasional absences over coming weeks, as he travels back and forth to NZ to help support his family.

Please join me, and all JF members (both here across Australia and internationally) in extending to Clarke and his family, our sincere condolences . . . but also our steadfast support for a great mate in his sorrow and sadness.

During any such absence by Clarke from JF (and especially his pivotal role as Regional Coordinator for Queensland) may I suggest that you please direct any local matters either to Jim [Daf11e], perhaps Paul [paulyling] or myself, Ken [cat_as_trophy]. None of us could ever hope to fill Clarke's shoes, but sure as heck, we'll support our mate here . . . while he gets on with the far more important stuff there.

All our love, mate . . .

Well said Ken. I'll be sure to lend a hand where I can or point you in the right direction until Clarke's return also.

Thoughts with Clarke and his family at this time. I hope it all goes as smooth as can be expected mate.

Thank you all for the kind words.
Pretty tough trip home after leaving 27 years ago and this being my first visit home since. Although they visited us every year.
Saying farewell to my Dad, great mate and mentor. We sent the old salt on his final voyage in the waters that he loved so much and were so much of his and our lives.
