Funny thing while I was in the Jeep dealer for the wife's GC the guy asked me who I get to fix my car as he used to work on them

I was almost tempted to try him out but I have a great rapport with Mike and Niles and he also owns a XJR6 himself so we share ideas as there is a lot to learn from this forum that's why I love this forum not just your genuine parts and standard repairs only LOL

Default Jagdaim,Melbourne

I have used Jagdaim many times to buy parts, ask to speak to Doug Findlay.
Very helpful and knows his stuff.
They despatch your parts same day if you order early enough, 1-2 days to your door.

Default Progas, The Gabba

Good for all carby, Fuel injection and LPG goodies.
I had my SU's in pieces on the counter finding bits to fit.
Bill is a top bloke and willing to work through a problem if you have the time to wait and use his time between trade customers,it is a drive through shop so the car had to do about 4 laps(no street parking) while we sorted my issue.
Still a quick fix, I was home within 1 hour of leaving with everything I needed to rebuild my HS8's.

Address is wrong on the website,it is.

Angry 97 XK8 Recently Purchased

Painful, just polished as only recently purchased, xmas and spare time, next day it rained heavily as most Sth East Qlds have experienced. Caught out in it for 2 days, found drivers window leaks badly, soaked drivers floor and now have a Fault code 1224. 1st warning was stability control fault with engine fault red warning, idles fast and loses a cylinder or 2 on low power settings but on all 8 when accelerating now the auto is jammed in 3rd or 4th to limp home 1224... books make no mention of auto servicing
Will a hard reset cure??? any ideas where to start??

Yes I used to use Mike at Independent Jag - did a great job but Aaron Goldman at Granite street is my man - does an equally as good job - but much cheaper.

Paintless dent repair "Dent Rescue" (Pete) in Deception Bay does top shelf work when it comes to removing Dings/Dents/Hail Damage from my cars. No, I do not get a kickback, but if you mention my name and ask for his car dealers rate ($40 per panel) it is exceptional value.

Ms Kitty had car park and shopping trolley dings in all four doors and one in the bonnet. Total cost was $200 and she looks like new once again.

Any recommendations for re-spray joints on Brisbane North or Sunny coast?

Just weighing up my options if I can't get my ole girl to look right after some recent removal of an old coach stripe.

"Profinish" in Caboolture/Morayfield has done some excellent work on a couple of my cars. They specialise in matching the paint on "Classics".

Devin's Windscreen Repair in Wamuran. Devin is the President of the Caboolture Regional Car Club. "Ms Kitty" had a chip in the windshield (right in front of my face) and Devin repaired it while I waited. Excellent job!

"Putty Tat" had a crack in the rear bumper when I got her. The guys from Car Clinic (Carclinic- Mobile Bumper and Paint Repair |) came out to the house and did a fantastic job of repairing the bumper and matching the paint! I have attached a couple of before and after photos.
