Go to the Sticky, "Queensland Members Roll Call" (https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...-119698/page6/)

Find a few members in FNQ and send them a PM.

Hi scatcat, I have added you to the Qld Roll Call. I see you have been a member for 5 years but we missed you when setting up the roll call.

Default Jag specialist in Brisbane?

Hi,

The transmission fault light on my 1996 XJS 4L has come on and it is stuck in limp home mode. Having read a few forum posts by members who have had similar issues, I have concluded that the fault diagnosis and repair is beyond me! I therefore need a recommendation for a decent Brisbane based independent Jag specialist (who won't charge the earth). I came across jagland - http://www.jagland.com.au - does anyone have any experience using these guys?

Thanks in advance!

Never used them. I use Classic & Prestige Auto Service in Geebung. Labour charge is $132 per hour.

Default Gas Strut Guys

I recently ordered a pair of gas struts for my Jaguar X-Type bonnet from local Qld company Gas Strut Guys on a Friday and they arrived on my doorstep the following Monday. They were fitted to the bonnet of the X-Type in about 15 minutes and it now works perfectly. The pair of gas struts cost $44.95 including postage, which was less than half the cost of the next best price I could find.
They stock gas struts for Jaguar XJ40, S-Type and X-Type as well as most other cars.
I recommend them for prompt service and excellent pricing.
