Default AOMC Day at Yarra Valley Race course

I will be here with the XKR on display, with some other bods from the Jag Club.

Hope to see you there

Sunday 17th May is National Motoring Heritage Day and the Association is arranging a cruise and picnic with the classics at Yarra Glen racecourse.
The idea of this event is to get as many veteran, vintage, classic, historic and collector vehicles onto the road for the day.
At Yarra Glen racecourse we will have the vehicles on display and encourage the day to be a laid back picnic event.
Entrance will be by gold coin, the Yarra Glen CFA will collect from you at the gate and please give generously to this worthy cause. They will also find a spot for your club to park.
There is a large Sunday market at nearby Yering Station and we will have a free shuttle bus operating to take you to the market via the main street of Yarra Glen. Catering available at the venue, again funds will be returned to the local community.
Check out the website www.aomc.asn.au

I went to this last year with the JCCV, wide variety of classic cars, a really good day out. Would recommend.

Great shots Steve.
The day was brilliant.
So many fantastic cars of lots of makes and models.
Perfect weather , great day
Topped off by a drive up the Spur to Marysville , lunch and return trip.
See you next Saturday we hope.
If the weather looks like crud and its just you and I , I might pull the pin?
Will update meet up and run #2 if that is the case

Yes it's a big event. Quite an eye opener in terms of the amount of money being spent on a wide variety of toys. We only had an hour there due to family commitments in Melbourne, but I will be happy to go back and spend a bit more time next year.

Re the Winton thing , I will have to pull the pin anyway. My family meeting has led to me getting tangled up in a house move, so now I will be trundling around in a truck rather than the Jag that weekend. My apologies and hope to catch up in the future.

Cheers
