Luxobarge Reliability Run

Luxobarge Reliability Run
I am a happy boy, maybe I am easily pleased but for a change it was nice to get results from vehicular love, rather than just having the next weak link fail.
After months of servicing, updating, replacing, re-instating an assortment of stuff, I decided to take the Series 3 on a trip to Sydney and back. Just to add some tension and a half pike with twist, the return journey included my mother in law. So breaking down on the highway was not something I would ever live down.
So, 2000km later (800 each way plus being tourist/taxi/chaffeur in Sydney) we have returned in one piece with nary a problem. Having said that I will probably find a pool of coloured liquid on the floor tomorrow, but better here than 3 kms west of Womargama in 38C.
Wishing you all your own rewarding experiences with your toys.
Cheers

The cat show is tomorrow Steve. 27o and sunny - perfect! Looking forward to a great display of metal, and yes, maybe even finding the right Series III looking for a good home!
For anyone interested in seeing a couple of hundred resplendent Jags of all models, it's being held in the grounds of Wesley College, High Street Rd. Glen Waverley 0930-1500. All welcome.
Apparently the Herald-Sun messed up in yesterday's edition by publishing the event as being on today instead of tomorrow. It is definitely on tomorrow!
Cheers,
