Default Run NO 1 2017

Looking a few months ahead I'm proposing the Sat the 25th of February 2017 for our, Great ocean road run. The plan is to meet up in Sorrento and catch the ferry across to Queenscliff, to meet up with others. Then a nice cruise down the great ocean road to Lorne for some lunch and a photo lineup.

Any alternative dates or ideas are most welcome.

We are in pending the bushfire status up our way that weekend. All going well we will probably stay down that way (more likely Apollo Bay) and come back the next day. We will meet the ferry people at Queenscliff or Torquay, or wherever is agreed later on.

Carn people! whats not to like? a run down the Great Ocean Road in summer, lunch with a nice crew of people, stay down overnight or come back as you please.

The JF runs are always a good day out, so register and come along if you are able.

We'll be up for it at this stage. Just need to confirm with the boss lady. We'd be coming from Warrnambool so we'd meet the ferry at Queenscliff.

25/02-2017- Great Ocean Road Line Up
Tony and June (Jagent)
Steve and Sandra (Yarpos)
Ken and Linda (Hawken)
Michael and Sofie (MikeyB10)
apologies (Gully) hope to catch you at the next one.

We have booked lunch at "Chris's Beacon Point Restaurant" for 1300.
280 Skenes Creek Rd, Apollo Bay Home | Chris's Restaurant & Villa Accommodation Apollo Bay

Sofie and I will meet up with everyone wanting to take the Ferry across from Sorrento to Queenscliff around 9 am. There is a nice place for coffee and breakfast called Rusty's just as you turn off for the Ferry. http://rustyscafebar.com.au/

The Ferry leaves on the hour and takes aprox 40 min to cross to Queenscliff, where we will meet up with others around 11 am for a leisurely drive along the Great ocean road for lunch and hopefully some seaside line up Pics.

Can everyone please confirm where they will be meeting up so we don't lose anyone along the way.

Looking forward to seeing the regulars again and possibly new faces

"Yappos"? I've gone Greek? who knew?

We will meet you at Queenscliff. If you are getting the 9AM boat , do you really mean 11AM meet up or 10AM?

If lunch is at 1PM , a standing start from Queenscliff at 11AM may need a police escort :-) In a car at least. Nice choice for lunch.

Thanks, Steve, Good pick up. Trusting Google maps, Only ever doing that run on a bike and seeing how you drive I figured just over 2hr would be enough time to make lunch.

To ensure we don't end up with a police escort, we will see you at 10 am.

Yeah thanks Mike and Sophi, a great day out.

Must have over stressed the old girl trying to keep up through the twisties.
Split a hose on the way home. Caught it in time though so no damage just coolant everywhere.

The Mini has clearly been getting too much attention, you made her jealous. Glad you caught it in time. Just what you need right now, another job.
