Yikes that must have been scary. All the best with the recovery process. I will let you know when the next opportunity comes along.

So, just to summarise for the weekend:

Starters:

Steve and Sandy
Mike and Sofie
Tony and June
George and Anne
Kent and Jan (a couple from our local club that got an XJ40 registered yesterday)

Coffee from 10:30AM at the Yea Emporium, at the Seymour end of Yea, a couple of doors up from the Liberty service station. Plenty of parking out front or in the centre reservation. Next stop Pyalong via Tallarook for lunch (and they say Victoria has funny place names)

You should all have my phone number in the event of any issues on the day. See you at Yea.

Thanks Mike, yes Spring in Victoria does throw everything at you :-) nice we were going the right way and drove into sunshine for arrival at the pub. Good to see everyone and welcome some new faces with Kent and Jan. Some of my pics below:

Think I like the trees as much as the cars

Kent and Jans XJ40

My other old tinker mobile was featured on the Pubs wallpaper

Looks like another successful run.
Were looking forward to the next one. I would rather be driving the old girl than this thing.

Suzuki Wagon R (At least 14 rice power.)

A great social day, thanks one and all. Thanks also to Steve and Sandy for organizing once again (great pub food!). Sorry we didn't hang around for the photo shoot, I don't think my Jeep would have quite fitted in the classic line up!! Still working on a replacement for our last Jag....
