Hello all.

We are based in Melbourne and currently in the market for an X100 XKR.

A couple have popped up in Perth.

I will get any car checked out at either Barbagello's or Roadbend.

If one was of interest would anyone over there , from the forum be able to help out please by going to the seller and just having an objective look over it and suss out the situation?

Hi to all our perth brothers and sisters

There is a car that I am interested in as well in Perth and it is locted near Wembley Downs - I was wondering if any of the forum members who know about XJS would be willing to go and have a look at the car as a pre-cursor and initial "check" prior to me arranging a full PPI.

And who would you recommend for a PPI in that locale (near Wembley Downs?)

 

If it the red 89 convertible you are looking it, on carsales/gumtree it looks pretty tidy. My only observation from the pics are that the rear seat is probably aftermarket (no seat belts evident).

Wilf Chambers in Osborne Park would be the closest jag specialist. Otherwise there is Barbagello's who are the Perth jaguar dealer also in Osborne Park or Roadbend jaguar in Welshpool. Given the age of the car Barbagello's wouldn't be my first choice for a PPI.

The vendor would have to take the car to them for a PPI but I would be surprised if it wasn't serviced by either Roadbend or Wilf. Worth having a good phone chat with the vendor first and taking it from there, if you haven't already done so.
